Forskningsintressen

My research as a PhD focuses on social dominance interactions and animal personality variation, and how these interact. By combining these research fields, I investigate causes and consequences of having a certain personality type, in order to increase the understanding of the origin and maintenance of variation in personalities, while dwelling in the fascinating dynamics of dominance interactions. I primarily work with domestic fowl, but my interests are question driven and I am intrigued by behaviour in all animals. I also enjoy teaching and public outreach.
