Instructions for the candidates:
Part I: Trial lecture/research presentation (public: 20 min + 5 min question period)
The candidates are requested to prepare a 20-minute presentation aimed at placing their
research program in the larger context of the subject – Animal Ecology at the Department of
Zoology. The candidates can expect an informed but non-specialist audience. The
presentation provides an opportunity for the candidates to demonstrate their pedagogic
skills. The tight schedule requires that candidates strictly adhere to the 20 minutes time
limit. The talks are followed by a 5 minute question period to allow a brief discussion.
Part II: Individual interview (45 min)
This part is a closed session where each candidate individually meets with the recruitment
committee for a detailed interview lasting 45 minutes.
